Customer Support/Graphic Designer

Full job description

Join Our Neurodivergent-Powered Workforce at Spectrum Designs!

At Spectrum Designs Foundation, we believe in the power of different perspectives and talents. We are seeking a Customer Service / Graphic Designer to play a key role in transforming customer ideas into high-quality apparel. In this role, you’ll collaborate with customers and colleagues to manage order details, create impactful graphic designs, and support the sales-to-production process—all while being part of an inclusive, mission-driven team that values creativity, individuality, and growth.

As a Customer Service / Graphic Designer at Spectrum Designs, you’ll be the creative link between our customers and our production team. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Working directly with clients to understand their ideas and turn them into great designs.

  • Creating or adjusting logos and graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (or even a quick sketch!).

  • Preparing artwork and choosing the best production methods to bring projects to life.

  • Communicating clearly with customers about orders, timelines, and any updates.

  • Building and managing online webstores (Chipply) and helping close them into final orders.

  • Entering and tracking orders in our online systems (Printavo, SAGE, Chipply).

  • Brainstorming fresh design ideas to support both clients and our mission.

  • Collaborating with your supervisor and teammates to keep projects on schedule.

  • Juggling multiple apps and communications (phone, email, Teams, text) with ease.

  • Taking initiative to improve quality and help our team do even better.

Essential Skills & Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Customer Service: 2+ years of experience working with customers (preferred).

  • Design Skills: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator and vector artwork (preferred).

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, direct-to-garment, or promotional products is a plus—not required, but great to have!

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in both design work and communication.

We know great talent comes in many forms. If you don’t meet every qualification but are excited about this role and our mission, we encourage you to apply—you may be the perfect fit!

If you need accommodations during the interview process, please let us know. We’re happy to work with you to ensure a comfortable and fair experience.
